Creating an art blog

How does one find an audience for art? Technology seems to be the current vehicle - so with the help of my brother, Scott Woodruff, I am setting up this blog in order to showcase art work.

My background
Bachelor of fine arts (specializing in print-making) from Arcadia University (formerly Beaver College) in Glenside, Pennsylvania.

Spent a number of years working with stained glass and later specialized in Norwegian Rosemaling. However, "real" life intervened and I worked in a traditional office environment for many years before early retirement.

I have enjoyed the freedom of retirement, but I eventually started taking painting classes with a Belfast, Maine,  with painter and educator, Susan Tobey White.   Susan provided the encouragement and helped me develop confidence in the direction my art work has moved.

Media
Generally acrylic paints on canvas. Occasionally I design one-of-a-kind cards and work in other media.

How I work
I did a series of paintings of violets, and here is how I worked on one painting.
